Coastal Elite Release New Track "Let 'Em In" feat. Paul Gray

Coastal Elite release their new track "Let 'Em In" from the forthcoming Music For Marinas, Pt II EP. Out now, listen here: Spotify Apple Music The song features a posthumous vocal from Australian music icon Paul Gray, lead singer with 80’s synthfunk legends Wa Wa Nee, one of the most successful Australian acts of the late 80’s. Despite years since working in the industry in multiple roles as producer, keyboardist and musical director with artists such as Tina Arena and Kate Ceberano……this is his first and only lead vocal since Wa Wa Nee. Let 'Em In was written by Paul McCartney and originally recorded by Wings on the 1976 album Wings At The Speed Of Sound. Reworked and slightly reimagined with a pulsing Moog synth bass, the Coastal Elite taken "Let 'Em In" is more plaintive and emotional than the almost jaunty original, with Gray's stunning vocal front and centre. Coastal contributors include drums and percussion from Terepai Richmond (Whitlams, John Butler, Missy Higgins), a melancholic bass solo from Tim Curnick (Angus and Julia, Missy Higgins, Ngaire) and guitar and synths from Coastal Elite skipper Josh Beagley.
